There are four teams of walkers lending the Holux M-1000 GPS receivers for live tracking, Some teams have successfully using sendGPS in trainings. Let's see where they are during the Oxfam Trailwalker 2007.

Besides the service for real-time tracking, we will also provide check point arrival checking. The service is  for demonstration only. We will acquire data from the event organizer hourly and load into the Google Map. You can input the team no. for searching their arrival result. After a few months of practice, we believe you must have great confident to complete the 100 kilometers race. But the process is difficult and will be very hard. When you successfully complete the all check points, you must have unforgettable feelings. In this year's race, have you ever thought of using special methods to record you tracks or broadcast your live positions to all your friends. If you like to do so, our tracking service is your choice.

Our tracking service will also help your support team to locate your live position quickly and they are able to give full supporting.

This year, we support  "Oxfam Trailwalker 2007" by providing online tracking services and borrowing Holux M-1000 GPS receivers for whose who are participating in the race.

To access the real-time tracking, please make sure you equipped with the following equipment and service:

 
1. Nokia Mobile phones supporting S60 3rd Edition。

For example, Nokia 3250, 5500, 5700, 6110, 6121, 6290, E50, E51, E60, E61, E62, E65, E70, E90, N71, N73, N75, N76, N77, N80, N91, N92, N93, N95. Samsung SGH-i400, Samsung SGH-i520。

 
2. You have registered GPRS service. (The data will be sent via GPRS to Webtracker.hk. The interval is about one minute. GPRS service requires extra charging. For the exact charging, please consult your mobile phone service provider. It is about 0.5 KB for a transmitting of data and typically each KB costs about HKD$0.05)

 
3. Extra backup batteries for mobile phones.

If you are interesting in the service, please send email to info@webtracker.hk. We will provide 10 GPS receivers for the event and will teach you how to install and play of the real-time tracking

PS: Each player need to pay HKD$400 deposit for the leaning of GPS receivers.
